GROUP CLASSES

Our group classes are designed to meet the needs of our diverse community. Regardless of your age or current fitness level, our program will benefit you.

By design, our classes are small, allowing you the opportunity to work with a professional coach for a fraction of the cost of personal training. Because of the small group setting, we are able to monitor your movements carefully and hold you accountable. Your coaches will know your goals, concerns, pre-existing conditions and will modify workouts accordingly, if needed. Furthermore, goal-setting sessions are available to compare your data (collected in Wodfy) and ensure you are on track with your fitness goals.

CrossFit has turned the boring, mundane yet necessary task of “working out” into a fun and motivating activity. We carefully plan our programming to give you a constantly varied (different everyday), yet balanced workout. Our coaches will be teaching and guiding you through every group class.

In this gym, your coaches and fellow members are your biggest fans. We all want to see you succeed. You may arrive at the gym tired, stressed, distracted or rushed. When you leave you will feel strong, proud, fit and encouraged. Members tell us Group Class at CrossFit Boro is the best hour of their day! Smiling faces and fist bumps are awaiting you!

PERSONAL TRAINING

One-on-One training is an effective and efficient way to achieve your individual goals and get the most out of your time in our facility.

Within personal training, your coach will work with you to identify and clarify your goals related to health, fitness and/or sport. Then, design a program specifically targeted at improving your weaknesses and optimizing your strengths

Personal training is recommended if you have been sedentary for a long period of time, are training for a specific sport or event, have significant health/orthopedic limitations or just prefer the additional attention and accountability. We offer several different personal training packages based on the length of time and number of days per week you are willing to commit to.

Sign up for our personal training sessions where one of our experienced coaches will work with you to help define your goals and work to meet or exceed them.

Private Group Coaching is also offered at CrossFit Boro for groups of 2-3 individuals. This is a great option if you and one or two of your friends/peers have specific training objectives, are training for a specific event or simply would like more individual attention than is offered in our group classes. Plus, the cost is significantly less since you’re splitting it with a few others.

NUTRITION COACHING

The pyramid says it all. Nutrition is the foundation of everything we do.

You can’t out-exercise a bad diet. CrossFit makes you accountable: The workouts are 3x harder if you eat cookies the night before. But we’ve known for YEARS that we could do better. Our program can be completed in person or online!

Our Nutrition program (like our CrossFit and Personal Training Programs) combines behavioral change with achievement to create habits that will last a LIFETIME. No shakes, no short-term.

Imagine the confidence you could have walking into the grocery store or a restaurant knowing exactly what you should eat to not only feel great but look great too! The internet is filled with diet plans, recipe plans, and other information. There are a lot of programs out there telling you what NOT to eat or how to replace meals with supplements or a shake but what if we could attain this confidence through learning what TO eat and using whole foods with limited ingredients? Behold, a teaching program to build life-long skills one step at a time!

CROSSFIT KIDS

Boro Kids teaches not only basic physical skills but also social skills and confidence. Children learn Foundation movements like the squat, push-ups, pull-ups, climbing, jumping, and elementary gymnastic movements.

More importantly, you will see your child also learns to follow directions, listen, communicate, and play with others. Every class includes fitness game play and positive reinforcement. Your child’s confidence, both physically and mentally, will grow with each class.

Weight training will transition from dumbbells to barbells, with the emphasis still on using the least amount of weight possible to provoke a growth response in the body. Proper form will be priority number one.
